Mike M1

Mike lives in Los Angeles, California. He comes from a family of talented musicians. His father Jacob Nakhman is a world famous saxophone, piano, and clarinet player who had his songs featured on USSR & Russian radio stations. Jacob also composed four albums. Mike’s brother runs his own recording business which helped hundreds of artists be where they are now. Mike grew up listening to every kind of genre possible, ranging from Depeche Mode to Miles Davis. He had collections of tapes and CD’s that filled his room. In the year of 2007 is when Mike began his journey. He started off as a scratch DJ.  DJ Skratch B, a DJ who played along side with Dj Babu and other famous artist taught Mike the art of scratching. He was amazed. He practiced ’till he could not feel his hands anymore. Then Mike went into the scene of parties. DJing at parties became a religion to M1. Since then he has DJed with with famous DJs such as Xvertigo and SourMilk and at events ranging from Night Clubs such as Cinespace, Avalon, Kress, Boardners, Les Deux, to bars; Winston’s Bar, to Weddings, Barmitzvahs, Corporate Business Openings,  Birthdays, Dinner/Cocktail.Pool/Fundraising/Charities/Graudation Parties and more! On top of these events, Mike has played live with countless bands and musicians. Mike has devolped his own unique style of playing music in which he incorprates scratching. Currently he has over two terabytes of music and all of it is of magnificent quality. His sound system is composed of the highest quality products available on the market and is capable of providing music to groups of any size. Mike spins all his music from his heart and loves every second that he is up on the turntables playing music and making people alive and happy. DJing has become not just a hobby, but rather a passion with which he hopes to touch the hearts and spirits of others.
